Visionary Design project, concert - Conan Gray

Year 2 came to an end with the Visionary Project. We were able to choose our own artist or event which we were then to design in the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham! It was exciting to have a freedom of choice who or what to design for. It was a vastly different experience this term as we finished off everything from home.
The artist I chose was Conan Gray. I followed his journey on YouTube to music over the past few years and was excited to have the opportunity to design his show.
These are the final visuals I have created with the aid of Photoshop, SketchUp, as well as my own drawings. As tricky as it was to work with a Laptop, and having limited access to tutors due to the time difference of the UK to Thailand, I am proud of what I was able to create in these weeks.
The pandemic stopped and took away a lot from everyone. But during this time the class of 2021 Theatre Design was not stopped. We created amazing visuals and made it relevant to the times we are facing. I do hope everyone is well and able to find something to inspire them.
Music, Art, Movement are the three keys that have helped me through this (as well as podcasts and books).
